I'm still alive!

Wow--I didn't think I'd ever go this long without blogging!  There are a number of reasons for my absence.

1.  I have zero interest in blogging and can't even think of anything to blog about.
2.  Whenever I get on the computer, I'm nursing and can't type well.
3.  What little time I have left, I spend on Facebook.
4.   I'm going through some PPD right now.
5.   Things are out of control here!  The kids, the house, the food, the laundry.  It's CRAZY!  I used to be so organized, but now I don't even know where to start!

I should really get back in the habit because my blog is the only real record I have of my life.  Maybe I will start to feel better soon and once I can get my life back in order, I'll feel more inspired.

You're not the only one who doesn't have much interest in blogging- especially since Facebook came along - so much easier and quicker too.

My heart goes out to you. Please don't be too hard on yourself. You have 5 little ones who take ALOT of care and time. It is so normal to feel like you do and it WON"T last forever. It's just a season :) Keep your chin up, keep your eyes on Jesus and things WILL get better. You're doing a great job!

Be blessed!

Missing you :)
I'm sure things must be pretty hectic with 5 young kids! May the LORD give you the strength that you need.

Hugs.  I know the hopelessness of ppd and pray you have folks around you that you are willing to let help you with the house and with your emotions.

oh honey. I know where you are. I've been there. I had twins,(trying to nurse them), a 2yro, and a 6 and 7yro too. And little help. So, I do understand. But, remember;this too shall pass. It is only a short time in your life. Things will get better. Concerning your ppd, do ask for help, don't let it get out of hand. i will keep you in my prayers. Post when you can. We'll still be here.

Hugs and blessings,
Donna Scott

You know, I really had a hard time keeping things on track after I had my fifth as well. I don't know what it is, but I really had to rethink my plans also.
Praying for you...

Praying for your life to get back to normal, well, whatever you want your normal to be! And from experience with PPD,please please listen to the wise women above, don't hesitate to ask for help in any form that it's available.  Think ahead to the day when you will also be able to pay it forward to a new mom in need. Here's praying for peace, perspective, balance, and joy in your "new normal!"

I'm sorry it is hard - I understand PPD - I went through it too.  There may be something you can take while nursing to help if it gets too bad, either from the health food store or from your doctor.  Hang in there and be easy on yourself.

I am glad to know that you are Ok..I was wondering about you. I had just started following your blog and enjoying it when you kind of "disappeared"..BUT I completely understand. I am almost 28 weeks pregnant with my tenth and although I have lots of help now with my older kids, there was a time I had nothing but little ones and no help at all. I am proud you finally got that little girl. I have 6 girls myself and am expecting my 4th boy.  Take care and don't sweat the small stuff!!..love, Jana

Hang in there, sweet girl...It is certainly understandable why you would feel overwhelmed. You've been through a lot lately. It's okay to ask for help when you need it...friends, hubby, whatever. Also, don't hesitate to discuss the PPD with your midwife and/or doctor!

I'm praying for you. :o) You know you can call me anytime you need to talk, right? My number's in the directory I sent to you.

Love,
Beth
